About me

Elaine qualified as a nurse in 1984 and as a midwife in 1986. During her 26 year career in the NHS Elaine developed an interest in exploring non-conventional medicine and its use alongside conventional medicine. This led her to undertake an intensive 3½ year degree in acupuncture training at the College of Chinese Medicine in Reading. Currently she is one of only a few acupuncturists in Berkshire with 23 years of midwifery experience.
